If a positive determination is made, the doctor will outline treatment options and possibly start treatment on the day of your first visit. If chiropractic treatment is not appropriate, the doctor will refer you to a physician or specialist who can provide care which is appropriate for your condition. Your first visit should last between one to one and a half hours.
